Clifford A. Cohen

Born Kansas City, Missouri, October 29, 1948. B.S. 1970 University of Kansas. J.D. 1974 University of Missouri-Kansas City. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1974, Kansas Bar in 1975 and Colorado bar in 1989. Cliff is a member of Kansas City Metropolitan and Johnson County Bar Associations, The Missouri Bar and Kansas Bar Association. Cliff also serves as an ethics investigator for the Kansas Supreme Court. Cliff’s practice areas are business law, commercial litigation and administrative law.

CMPS partner Clifford Cohen handles the firm’s business and corporate law matters including:

James M. McNeile

Date of birth 1956, South Bend, Indiana. Graduated 1974 Elkhart Central High School, Elkhart, Indiana. B.A. 1978 Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana. J.D. 1981 St. Louis University. Jim is a member of the the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, the American Alliance of Creditor Attorneys, the Debt Buyers Association, the Kansas Collection Attorneys Association and is the past president of Hub-Net User’s Group, Inc. Jim is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and concentrates his practice of law in the area of creditor’s rights.

 

 

Gregory J. Pappas

Born Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.  Greg was admitted to the Kansas Bar and the U.S. District Court, District of Kansas in 1984. 1987, U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit. 1989, Missouri and U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. 1995, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit. B.S. 1981 Kansas State University. J.D. 1984 Oklahoma City University; Washburn University of Topeka. Greg is a member of the Wyandotte County, Johnson County (Kansas), and Kansas Bar Associations as well as the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and the Missouri Bar. Greg’s areas of practice are commercial litigation, landlord and tenant law and business law.

 

 

 

Susan P. DeCoursey (“Susie”)

Susie was born in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in the greater Kansas City area. She earned her law degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Susie received the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility while attending law school. Her legal experience has been primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. Susie is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She is also licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri and Kentucky state courts. She currently practices in the areas of construction law, creditor’s rights, civil and commercial litigation.

Susie has been involved extensively in the Kansas City community, serving as the Business Support Chairman for the first Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri’s Holiday Mart, a past Treasurer of the BOTAR Organization, and as the Treasurer for “The Launch”, the first fund-raiser for Union Station’s Science City. She is a Past Board member of Jewish Vocational Services, and has volunteered on committees at the Nelson-Atkins Museum, Friends of the Zoo, Rose Brooks, and the American Heart Association. Susan is a member of the Women’s Central Exchange.
